Norman visits Santa 2005

Rossco was helping out DJs because Santa was sacked for saying inappropriate things to the kids and their mums (true story) So I thought I'd send my brother Norman in with his wish list....
Rod being an avid home gardener brought me in a couple of patatoes the he had grown.....I felt that I wnted to pick them up with a plastic bag.....I dont think I will make chips out of them.HAVE A GOOD 2006 EVERYONE
This is the sign we put up new years day....we had a great big chunk of the shade and we all just wanted to sit and ride out the 40+ heat
Justine makes this face in the close ups...it smooths out the wrinkles
Kieran still thinks if she closes her eyes I can see her
Maree and mum had a watermellon race....mum with her experience in this area gave maree a real floggin.....even though maree was far behind we all gave her a clap just like they do at the woodchop
Great to see Michelle there....she has reallly learned to pack the kids bags like a true mum....many magic tupperware containers came out on the day for eveie
Pat asked me tell everybody that she is doing a taxidermy course at the WEA this year....so if you find any animals or birds on the road could you put them in the fridge for her
eveie discovers the sugar mellon
phil was relaxed above ground....still not used to that thing called the sun...a common plight of miners.
Dr vicki and Rod pitched their own tent UNDER a tree being more than well prepared and decided to sit tandem for hours on end
Watermellon was the antidote to the heat,,,,icy cold it was FANTASTIC all agreed
Maree watches her feet melting and mum spots a grass fire just 2 metres away...
Therese was chanting for rain....BUT there was no result
Keeping the kids covered in the 40+ heat was a real challange....but the water was fantastic.
New yaers eve with some friends...the little guy next to me had no front teeth...he was scaring me all the time.
