Off to the Alice.

Well...On Wednesday Therese and myself are off to Alice Springs for a week.She found this killer deal on line which goes like this.
We fly out of Sydney Wed to arrive in Alice Springs for lunch and stay the night in a unit.The next day we pick up a hightop camper from Britz.We then head off into the desert for 5 days...eatin lizards and say...Wow look at that!!!
The deal includes some fuel, a $35.00 ticket to the desert park, maps,linen etc.

We then drop the camper back and spend a night in the unit again before flying home.The whole deal was $750.00 pp.(plus we decided to pay the extra ins cover to avoid the $2500 excess if we collide with a water buffalo or a meteorite etc.)
We are stoked.I have wanted to spend some days and nights in the desert for years.I just want to BE AWAY....from lights, traffic, power poles...and of course people...

after I do a school..

the kids are encouraged to make a drawing and post it off to me...


I send them one back that they can glue their photo on and colour in...Im told its a real hit and some take them to school for show and tell.

...what about the temprature the other mornin???

It is real important to give your girl flowers...

...even if you steal them from her garden...its the thought that counts..

A poster for my Chiropractor...instead of $$$$s

SSShhhh...It's a secret. Im paying for chiropractic work by doing a poster for Michael...I have already done one for Craig.This will greatly appreciated as they really like my style of work.Its been really interesting to turn the photography off and the painting part on...It seems ages since I used a brush.Im usually using a camera or a mouse...Ill keep updating its progress....Im not in too much of a hurry...Im enjoying the process.
