CHRISTMAS 2005...

Christmas eve I performed the traditional fishing dance "The Sailor and the Dirty Oar".... the full Swedish adaptation....a mooving and haunting piece.......

I was first up Christmas morning,,,Santa left me a sprinkler to play with....what a guy.....how does he know what to get us.....I would never have thought of asking for that !!!

Therese helped me get into the spirit by helping me with my Christmas attire....and of course a few preperation jobs....like ironing the table cloth for lunch....Id never used and iron before...but I did ok.

Good times...good loot.

It wasnt long before we were all across the road in the school grounds playing cricket and blasting around on Marees pressy.......




Adam was showing some great turns of speed...until he got a cramp in his jaw...he should have done his stretches.

Maree was blasting around like an expert.

we all had a go....and were brilliant

...and Adams burnt leg is on the mend.

Therese got some CDs for Christmas....here she is listening to the Metalica Surf Classics double album...with special guest Delta Goodrim.

Mike spent all night preparing this ham...he dosent cook it ....he says the preparation is a secret but he did let on that it relys entirely on a series of Marinades....he said that womans weekly has showed interest in this process and his Mango and Tapioca Flan.

....sadly he hit a SPURTING blood vessel.

It was wonderful to see Maree act out the story of Jesus before lunch.She played all the parts in her specially adapted play....She Played Mary, Joseph, Jesus as a newborn, Jesus as a Toddler, Jesus at Tafe doing his Carpenters ticket, she played the three wise men, a stable full of animals...she played Herod, The good thief...and Sparticus....I truely love a good Pagent

Mitch delighted us all with his Hugh Jackman impersonation, it was ok....but nearly as clever as his Barbara Streisand......he should learn a few show tunes...he would get work for sure.

Mum gets a selection of Teas for Christmas.....I caught her later behind the back shed trying to smoke one of the English Breakfast numbers

Therese gave me some super glue for Christmas....as seen her I was quick to try it out

Mike found good use for his present....he was shouting "You cannot repress me"
